I havn't checked my plugs yet, because my 109 is still in the shop after my accident. However I'm curious if anyone has removed and checked the coloring of the plugs to see if the engine is running lean or rich.
Knowing that the 109 runs pretty hot stock, I suspect most folks would find their plugs more on the very white side.
Has anyone found the plugs to be colored correctly, indicating the bike is running well?

Thanks gval,
Is your 109 stock? How many miles do you have on it.

I will probably never check, just replace them when scheduled, or earlier if I feel the need.
I never go the full 100K in my cars. I will have to check to see when they are due again

I was thinking about the lean/rich thing, not how old or worn they are. Wondering if a stock 109 ran the plugs the right color or not.
Doesn't seem to be many who have checked. I will check mine when I get it back.
