i have this harness and was wondering if anyone has used it, the directions that came with it are not so good
I have skinny fingers and I still needed some long needle nose pliers to get the connectors on the stock horn .... It isn't the harness that makes it difficult , it is the location of the stock horn between the engine and the rad. not much room in there.I am using Ryan's harness he made and it went on so easy!!!!!! (both horns in the loop). Only thing is fat fingers take longer to install....................LOL!!!
I did'nt have to rotate mine however I did on the other bikes .If you loosen the stock horn mounting bolt a little bit you can rotate it to get the electrical terminals out towards you for a little bit easier access....it's still tough though because of the very small space.
