I have an 07 M109R with just 2700 miles on it. I've added an after market air intake, Power Commander and Road Burner exhaust. Now, with the slightest turn of the throttle it seems to lurch forward. Also, when letting off the throttle it's almost like hitting the break with a loud decelleration noise. This started happening almost a year after getting the after market parts and having it professionally dynoed. Can anyone shed some light on this for me???? :dontknow:
A TRE (timing retard eliminator) made by JSD and GI-PRO will help with your problem. The popping on deceleration needs to be fixed with block off plates for the pair valves or you can do the "marble mod like I did and it works perfect, I had lots of popping but not any more.

Get used to the twitchy throttle. A TRE only helps a little bit on the twitchiness. But me, when I turn my throttle, I want my bike to go, not hesitate
Thanks for the quick responses. I'm not really getting any popping on decel. It's more like as if I were downshifting from 3rd to 1st gear feeling and sound. I'll look into the TRE. Thanks.
Irish4life..... No you don't understand. I used to have smooth throttle response coming out of 1st gear with power!!! Now it's more of a herky jerky feeling which is a bit dangerous around cars & other bikes.
Did all this happen after you installed your power commander, air intakes, and exhaust? Or is this happening after these mods have been installed for awhile?
Check ur pc3 connections, ur TPS connector could be not connecting. I just saw u r in salisbury, if u dont figure it out by the weekend, I will come down and look at it with you
Irish4Life........ That would be great as i've checked some connections (probably not very good though). Also, this started happening after my battery went dead during the off season. Once i replaced it with a new one...........*BAM* I get this mess.
PM me and we'll set something up if I can't figure it out.
Everything was reconnected when I replaced the battery but i'll double check. I'll also contact Dynojet to see if they have my map on file. I should have all of my paper work.
Thanks for the help folks!!!
