Starting this thread to see how many people would be interested in buying a Dunlop E-3 if it came in a 160/60/18, MADE for the front.

Alot of us here like the FAT look up front, but some are still on the fence somewhat as to running a rear tire reversed on the front. Myself, I love the look of the Metz, but averaging $150 more for a 160/260 set of Metz's, compared to a 130/250 set of E-3's, I for one can't justify the cost for roughly half the mileage.

Not bashing on Metzeler, great tire.

If I get enough responses, then I'll email, write a letter and/or call Dunlop myself, show them how much interest there is, even send them a few pics of the 160 Metz on the front to show them the look, and what they are missing out on.

I'm not commiting anyone here to buying anything, just want to show Dunlop that there is plenty of interest here for a E-3 160/60 front. If your interested, just reply to this thread, and I'll keep an updated list on this first post.

True. What I think most of us are looking for is the same E-3 tread design, and similar (if not slightly higher) cost to the 130 E-3.

well if they dont make one for you 3 years from now LOL this is a kick ass tire. I think my stopping distance was cut in half . cop rolled through the interrsection going the other way as mine went yellow knew I couldnt get all the way through on it so I squeezed real hard and dam was stopped in about 10 feet, at least thats what it felt like. Still cant get over how easy it is to steer also.

Do you have any pics of it you could share? I've been considering getting a fat front, and I think a 150 would do just fine

Front Dunlop tires seem to be a hit or miss. Some are smooth in up to 130's and some vibrate from 90 and up. I am going to run a front Metzler and a rear E3 250. Why wait to see what other people think? Why not just email Dunlop?
