I don't even know what to say anymore. Waited almost two and a half months to get my full order and after numerous calls and being told ,that all my stuff is in and will be shipped out, still missing the derby cover and the brake reservoir cover. So I called and of course been told,it's on back order.
I told Drew to cancel it,whatever,I'll get it somewhere else.
Today I'm unpacking the stuff and I see that the risers packaging is pretty beat up. I was hoping it was only that plastic cover, but sure enough one of the risers is beat to chit. WTF !!!
Nobody checks what they ship out,or just nobody gives a flying F... in that place? I'm beyond pissed !
Now who knows how long it will take to sort this out again. I'm missing out on the Ontario meet ,because of DLP. Damn it. :-[

Chris ,I did because we gotta install all the throttle cables and new brake lines tomorrow. But I'm like three weeks behind on the bike ,because of their BS. Never again, that's all I have to say.

How!

How could those risers get such deep gouges from shipping? I don't get it. You would have to take a hammer and flat bladed screwdriver and beat the crap out of it.
They were obviously installed and the bike dropped against a sharp metal counter top or vise. Just too deep.
Call Hal and your credit card company, you should not have to pay new prices for used crap.

The packaging looked fine except those marks on it. And it didn't get damaged while in transit to me either, because the box was in perfect shape.
Maybe they received it like that too,but it should be their responsibility to check what they send to their customers.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones that has ordered from them and have had no problems. I have placed two orders with them and within days I get my stuff with no issues. I guess you win some you loose some or its just the parts I ordered i don't know.

I knew some folks that ran a PC parts store...They would do the same thing when people ordered part, but they were actually floating customers money...They would get a order then the customers money. THEN place a order for the parts and pay for the parts with customers money more or less. Of course it has gone out of buisness...but its what they did for sure. It takes a little bit to get the cash from a credit card to show up in bank account...I got my shield basically 30$ cheaper than their site...and Im glad I took the time to check with my dealership...feel really bad for the folks that dont have a good dealership to work with.

:agree:They should have something on their site that states if a part is on back order or in stock. I have not had any significant problems with them personally. My fat fork tubes were on back order, I even called Kewl Metal directly and they said the same thing.

calling first

I've found dealing with alot of aftermarket and even dealers calling first to find out availibility is always a good thing I know its so much easier to just order online but calling can save alot of guessing games. I would be nice if all sites listed item status. In stock, drop ship, custom order, etc... I know with auto parts some do. Hope it catches on.[QUOTE=ghostm109;1260843]:agree:They should have something on their site that states if a part is on back order or in stock.
