I'd like to invite all my fellow riders on an upcoming ride to WildWood NJ. Donation is 25 dollars per rider with BBQ included. Many of you 109ers came out last year and it'd be nice to see more this year. Date, time and location are below. The ride is police escorted to WWNJ but your on your own coming back, alot of people have their families meet them down there and stay the night but some do a round trip. If anyone has any questions please send them my way, I'll try and check in on them often. All bike types welcome, Metrics, HD's, Trikes, Scooters I don't care, if it can keep up bring it.

This ride benefits The Michael G. Lutz Lodge #5 Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Survivor's Fund which was established not only to remember the sacrifice of each officer, but to acknowledge the sacrifice made by each of our surviving families. 276 Philadelphia Police Officers have lost their lives in the line of duty. It is in this way that our surviving families are reassured that their loved one is still remembered by the citizens of Philadelphia and the motorcycle community.

Date:Saturday, June 19, 2010
Time:9:00am - 4:00pm
Location:Philadelphia Police Academy to The Shamrock Cafe 3700 Pacific Ave

It was a nice ride last year and spending the night would have been a good idea. Not sure if I will make again this year.

I would love to tell you all I upgraded from my SVS to a 109 or even a 90, Im sure I'll be crucified for it but I ended up getting a great deal on a Warrior. Love the bike and its treating me good. It's a shame Mr and Mrs NUK can't make it but a decent turnout last year. More the merrier!!

Ah man I would love to do this too! Maybe if I am not burned out from riding. Heading home to GA on the 9ths and then to mississippi on the 10th and the back home on the 12 or 13th, then back to NC on the 17th! If I can get some exact addresses so I can google map the directions Ill see what I can do. Thanks!~

What a bummer. Wasn't this ride on Sunday last year? This was still the best ride I have ever been on. From signing in, to the ride :doorag: itself, lunch in Wildwood, everything was completely awesome. Sucks to only be missing it by a day. Maybe we could leave FL a day early... :dontknow:

Nuk, yea last two years it has been on a Sunday but this year Im sure prob for timing reasons it just happens to work out on a Saturday. I for one just got married and burnt nearly all my vacation time so Im not sure if I am DEF making it. I wanted everyone to know about it though. I'm 90 % sure I'll make it there one way or another.

The address for the Police academy is 8501 State Rd Phila PA 19114

as for the destination location Im not sure of the address but I'll see what I can do.

Glad we crack you up. Been to FL so many times I can't count, and this is the best ride EVER!:clap2: Now if you were talking FL in the winter, that is a different story. I will tell my buddies at work about it as a few of them went last year and they have been asking about it. Hope everyone has a safe ride and great weather.

Sorry to hear the Nuk's are not going to be able to make it. :-\ There's plenty more riding left todo.

But for those who are making the ride. Where are we going to meet so we can roll in together?

Alright Guys and Gals tomorrow is the big day and the weather looks like it's gonna be great!

Housekeeping (me fluff pillow?)

Same will probably apply as it did last year. They will have a big loop entering the parking / staging area and donation for the run taken at the entrance. STATE ROAD IS UNDERGOING MAJOR CONSTRUCTION SO HIT FUEL BEFORE ARRIVING AS IT WILL SUCK TO HAVE TO RUN UP AND DOWN STATE ROAD. It's down to one lane each way and its really tore up. Other than that there will be t shirts / patches for sale and I believe a couple vendors at the academy. Last year there were juices, water, coffee and bagels/danish donated, hopefully they're there again this year. Can't wait to see the 109's as last year you had a great turnout!

I was unfortunately unable to get a vacation day HOWEVER, apparently my work has what they call a blood bank day. No **** they really do. If you schedule it and donate blood you don't have to work that day. So I will be donating blood at 8 am grabbing some juice and good breakfast then heading to the run. Stupid? Probably but ya do what ya gotta do for a great ride with a better reason. For those of you 9 ers that are going (sorry NUK and Mrs NUK) I'll be on the 08 Red Warrior. Stock for now as I haven't had time to put my new pipes on.

My thanks to all of you that get out and those who can't this run won't die, it's too important a cause, so please remember us next year!

Well the ride wasn't as big a turn out as last year. Only about 400 bikes, 500 riders, still had a tremendous time. I saw about 3 109's but I didn't see any riders with them. Walked around a while and kept looking back but again, no riders till it was time for kickstands up. Did anyone end up making it there???

Not i. No one had responded about meeting up or anything like that so i didn't go on that ride. But is did hook up with another 6 of my buddy riders and still made it out to wildwood. My family were there 2days before, staying at a hotel near morey's pier.

Until next time.
