I need to collect some info to help us get the best possible deal for next years event.
I am looking for …
how many people went? You and spouce? Friends?
How many stayed in the hotel?
How many stayed someplace other then hooter? And why?
Do you plan on going next year? How many?
Approx. how much you spent in hooters per day? Food, drinks?
Did you gamble? At hooters?
You can reply here, or shoot me a PM. I have talked to several hotels all ready, and think this info will help sweeten the deal we get. I am looking for total VIP treatment for us.
thanks

Scott and I both turned up, and plan to go again next year. We stayed at Hooters, the pool was awesome, allthough I dont think we actually made it in the pool-what a view! We ate at Hooters, both in the restaurant and at poolside, so we spent some coin. I dont gamble, dont think Scott did either. Hope that helps.

The wife and I went and stayed at Hooters. Plan on going next year... unless we're at Hooters again ;). We did eat there a couple times, food was subpar, didn't gamble there cause it sucked but did spend a few $$ else where, in clean casino's.

Would definitely spend a little more at hotel if I thought we were being treated well and they followed through on promises, I ALWAYS support good customer service.

I ate there twice, both times were good. gambled a little bit and had a couple of ****tails. The pool was nice to cool off in and the rooms were okay. The advantage of one of the other casinos is that the quality of food and the selection is 10x's better.

BamBam and Pebbles stayed at Hooters
I thought the place was better than $29 a night, just trying to keep that in mind.
Service generally was poor. That let me down. Allot.
My room was great. Very comfy.
Didn't gamble at all and probably wouldn't anywhere else.

I couldn't stay at hooters, They wouldn't take my dogs, I couldn't find anyone to watch them so I stayed about a mile away at another place. One doesn't go to Vegas for room quality I suppose. They out on the floor or in the pool. LOL I don't drink either and that always seems to get in the way, But so be it. As for next year, well that is a long time from now. Will deal with that at a more appropriate time. I had a good time and great meeting the ones I did. Half I never met!!

Great info guys.
Terri and I stayed @Hooter F,S,S. She was in Vegas early and stayed at a very nice condo W, and Th. We only had 1 meal at hooters. We did buy some hotel loot. She gambled only a few bucks. If the hotel was nicer, we would have spent a lot more $ with them. The room was great, the service was horrible. We are going next year.

Stayed at Hooters, Ate at hooters, drank at hooters (got pissed off at hooters:verymad:) lol, stayed 1 more night than most, my girl did a little gambling,
between the room and everything else, I probably spent around $200-300 a day:bigthumbsup:

NOTHING will keep me from going again next year, and with my Brother looking at buying a 9 by then there may be more people with me:bigthumbsup:
When it all boils down I don't care where we stay, we have a great bunch here and no matter how crappy the hotel, the great company made up for it!
Cant wait until 2011!

My wife and I went and stayed at Hooters for 5 nights. Rick is right that for $29.00 per night it wasn't bad. The weekend nights were $79.00 though and you can get that price at better places in Vegas. I stayed at Excalibur (again not by choice) a week later and it was no better than Hooters, except for the food.

Ate there three times and each time was bad. Only spent a few dollars a day on water and tea.

Will go back for next year's trip but may stay somewhere else, even if the group chooses Hooters.

Keep in mind that the nicer hotels cost more (which I wouldn't mind) but might not be big fans of all the loud bikes.

For Me, I had to work unfortunately, however living out here made it easy to get off and come hang out and enjoy what i could. Next year, I WILL be staying wherever we choose to get the full effect.

As far as hotels go, the price for Hooters was pretty good, nicer the hotel uglier the price. One thing to look at is (do we really need to be on or just off the strip?) How much time did everyone actually stay on the "STRIP".

Another thing is food, alot of hotels here in town arent like they used to be with great service and good cheap food. It seems that as the prices go up service and quality go down.

I know that other parts of town have casinos and sometimes tend to deal more with the "locals" Such as red rock casino, those also tend to have better food.

Anyone have any questions about the area, cost etc. look me up. I had a great time when i was there. And, if I can help in any way with info or planning just let me know, ill be glad to help..

I saw red rock on the way out of town and It looked kinda of succluded, Which I kinda liked! if it's the same one on the North side I saw...

Was kinda on a budget and the Hooters hotel sucked, No refer, No micro, Slow Service ate and drank their and my room smelled like musty mold from the A/C. used the resturants and the Pool which sucked because they Kicked my COOLER out! What the Hecks up with that!!! Jet's broke on the hot tub, Elevator ride from Hell "Broke".

Wife and I went!! Would do it all over again, plan on the kids going next year! there old enough to do the Movie theater, bowling,
Go-Karting "which I WON one of the rounds", game room, pool etc. while we go riding..
Had a Ball and yes plan on doing It again next year, with 4 + coming!!

Viva Las Vegas

As a sales type guy going to 4 - 6 conventions in Veagas a year I see what hotels do to earn group's business. That was the first and last time for me to stay at Hooters. I know that with a group like ours, the numbers attended with more to come in the next few years, we could get more. Now saying that, I too enjoyed the pool side at the establishment, but that scene happens at most of the hotels. For the first annual it rocked. I liked the idea of the possibility of the Hard Rock. Lots of entertainment, close to strip and bike freindly. If Hilton had a better property we could get VIP. I have stayed off the strip, at a couple resorts and they are self supportive for all ages.

For the particulars. I ate a meal a day at the resort. I did this because of convenience for my self and others. Did not gamble at this casino. Had a few drinks inside and out. Did not use room service. Speaking of, most resorts round the strip do not have micros and frig's. They want folks downstairs in the casinos. I spend 100 - 300 per day if it's a nice property. I too will attend forever more because of the good times and company.

PEACE

That was talked about and It will happen! But to make sure this event is a success and take's off there is always a learning curve! The group mentioned first 2 years at Vegas to get the number's and Bugs kinked out, Then travel around a bit... Next years event is going to be a big one and the decisions will be made there for the next location so you dont want to miss it.....
