I'm in thr UK. Dahn Saarf in Hampshire. So miles away from you two. Dont think there are many of us on here. I spoke to Lamonster, and I'm thinking of setting up a UK forum. Must be more than 3 of us in the UK with good taste in wheels Be handy for meet ups and parts swaps etc.

Only 4 of us then? I've only seen another on the road, an LE version (which so cool, I went and bought an M18 too, only in black.) Dont know how well they have sold over here to be honest. Gotta be more around somewhere.

Hi from SID-M1800R (Hull, East Yorkshire)
If you look back through previous posts you will find there are quite a few UK owners on this site.
I have had mine just over a year now (3500 miles) and love it, spent more money on the bike than the missus (but kept her happy by getting her a little gz250 marauder, hoping next year to get her on a M800)
Just getting ready to go to Mags "Farmyard Party" for the weekend then in 3 weeks time off to France again for two weeks (would recommend anyone to try France on a bike)

Hi from big g in scotland, not too many 109's up here but loads of interested bike owners when they see it and see how it goes. Have had bikes for 30+ years and have an Aprilia Tuono in my garage too but the 109 has changed the way i see things.

    Hi all

Looks there's another live thread with folks in the UK. it's at: https://www.m109riders.com/forum/inde...html#msg489856
I'll post this one on there.

Glad to see other 9 riders here. Hopefully I'll have mine this week! Woohoo! Man I'm looking forward to taking her out this summer, pity I waited till now to make the decision.

    Later
Every one needs something to obsess about.
Black 9, 2 inch risers, cables, JSD3M and that's only the beginning.

I finally understand the term "ride it like you stole it". My life is complete.

One more day. Can't wait to lay my hands on those bars, really looking forward to it! Got my mods in the DLP basket, saved for tomorrow. I'm a little concerned with installing the lowering bones but I'm pretty handy with a wrench so I guess I'll muddle through. Pretty surprised that the insurance is as high as I've been quoted (plus 4 yeasr no claim), but I guess it's to be expected with something as powerful as the 9.

Biggest worry I have now is the darn weather. Cloudy and 20C today, going to rain this weekend though, I can just feel it comming. Hope August brings loads of hot weather so I can put some miles on the beast!

Default m109/m1800r riders in the uk

Man this is the first time I have checked the UK side of the site. You guys have some sweet rides. It may be that your country may have a great number of 9s/1800r but some of the riders may not know about this site. Doesn't matter what configuration you have ride in they are absolutely gorgeous but another bonus it will certainly take the wrinkles out of your face lol. Keep the dirty side down. Bobby1048
