    Default My New Years Resolution

My wife asked for a divorce today. My New Year Resolution is that she is not getting my bike or my truck she'll have to pry them from my dead hands. She can have everything else but not my bike. So if I don't get to talk on here anymore then that just means she took my computer. I love this site and I promise that I will be back on when the dust settles. You bros have a great new years Im going to see just how much Patron I can actually drink. See ya...........

Bamn Bro. I just got married. Hope all works out in the end for you. Take it easy on the Patron, it might cause you to self destruct if you have too much. I say get cleaned up and hit the streets. They say the best way to get over one girl is to get under another. Not my advice, but if the patron kicks in hard go for it.

Sorry to hear that man. Best of luck to ya. I would feel the same way as you if my wife asks for a devorce. She can have what ever she wants, but leave my bike & truck alone. Keep your head up.

Well... I'm not sure if I should be consoling you or congratulating you. But here's to a happier 2008 regardless! Give me a shout if you need a place to hide your bike or yourself bro.

BTW, my resolution 8 years ago was to never make a resolution again. Still holding good on that one.

    Hang in there, bruh,
You must have had some clue things weren't going right. Look at the bright side, now you can get on with your life. I have often thought of splitting up with my not-so-better half after 16 years of marriage and 18 of being together, but my boys are the love of my life and I aint leavin' them with her. But after they're gone..... She can have everything I don't care as long as she buys me out of the house so I can start over fresh. Nothing is worth your happiness, you can always find a piece of A#$. Get yourself a bass boat and go win some tournaments! Fugettaboutit!!!

18 years ... that's really tough. My wife and I just passed 16 years this summer, and I can't imagine the changes and disruptions that would cause to have it end.

Merry f'ing Christmas, eh? Sounds like you don't have to make a ton of resolutions for the New Year, the changes have already found you. Stay positive, and stick close to your friends. Remember, a 6-pack doesn't qualify as a support group, stick with your buddies. We're pullin' for you.

Well said, great timing huh? I went through something similar to this a few years ago. We were together for 11 years. It crushed me!! But i realized that when one door closes it means there's another door, a better door opening up for you. I have a great woman now, couldn't be happier. She supports me, has my back and more than anything THERE'S NO DRAMA!! Hang in there bro, it gets better...

Hang in there bro, I have been there twice. first one lasted 21 years, kid was grown, I filed on her but kept my bikes and house. second one was an all out mistake of getting involved too soon after the first, no kids, once I saw all she wanted was my $$$ after about a year I filed on her, again kept the bikes and house. both times the bikes and house were mine before we got married. I have been in a wonderful relationship with this one for 5 years, no kids to mess with and no paper between us and all is great.

Hey bro.....Dont sweat the small things....... Back in 2004 I signed the final paperwork for my divorce the day of my 16th wedding anivesary....My newly Ex-wife didn't even realize what day it was until I just smiled and said "happy aniversary" : . While I will admit that there were days of sorrow when it was first decided to divorce it really wasn't to long and I came to realize I was much better off without her and she just held me back in the big picture of life.
