    Hey Tommy,

I'm originally from Chalmette, but moved to Slidell a year before the storm. Kevin is trying to get a ride this Sunday. Look for his post on this same Louisiana Forum. So far, I'm the only one who's replied, but it'll be nice just to get a way for a few hours and head to the coast to see how it's going over there.

Welcome to the board. The LE is one sweet a$$ color! Almost makes me wish I would have waited till 07 to get one, but in a way, my SILVER is somewhat of a limited edition too since they only made that color the first year.

Hope to meet you soon. Come out to bike night here in Slidell. Southside Cafe, Bar and Grill on Hwy 11 every Wednesday night.

    -Chris

I think we did go to school together. If I remember correctly, you, me, Chad Hollingsworth and John Hebert used to all sit in the back of Mr. Gremillion's Geometry class and play cards? Was that you? Blond hair, right? And I think your brother had an old Ford Courier mini-truck that was "kicked up a notch", as Emeril would say?

If that's you, glad to see you again!

    Keep in touch.

I just realized that the Tommy I was thinking of was Tommy Cook. Not Tommy Frey. So disregard all the above stuff. I do remember going to school with a Frey, but I think it was in elementary school. Did you go to Lacoste?

Good to see my people in good spirits with everything that happened during the storm. I am representing Louisiana in Fredericksburg, Virginia riding the Silver Surfer.

I get people stopping me all the time trying to figure out what kinda bike it is. Can't beat this monster for getting the looks, stares and occasional phone numbers (only for the sharpest riders) I just won 1st place at a local bike event in the cruiser class with the STOCK build. No mods.

    that's FIRE!

I hope to see some of ya'll next time I ride through. My pops lives in LaPlace (20 min East of the Superdome).

Enjoy the bike fellas, it's the craziest.

Default Good to see the M109 represented proudly in "the Boot."

    My people,

Keep it rolling! I'm going to be in Louisiana to welcome the Baton Rouge chapter to my MC. Nubian Kruzers United. http://www.nubiankruzersunited.com/

I'm in Baton Rouge from Oct 27-29 2007. I will do my best to hit that I-10 South and meet up with some of ya'll if just to catch a brew and see if I used to crack helmets with ya'll playing that District 5A football for them East St. John wildcats back in the day. I graduated in 1994 so maybe some of ya'll are "young" ole heads like me.

    Peace-

    J

We never played yall, but I was out there cracking helmets just like you at that same time. Chalmette High, Class of '94 here too! We had the lucky misfortune of going against John Curtis in the first round of the playoffs that year. Lets just say it didn't fair out too well for us but we did put more points in them than anyone else did that year. Final score 24 - 45.

I had to go and check out a job on the north shore of Lake Ponchatrain by New Orleans LA. 243 miles round trip but enjoyed every mile. I sure wish everyday was that way. (I left the company truck sit at home) RIDE ON AND BE SAFE.
