50K KM’s + Winter = ? Maintenance help on M109R

Ok. So I just bought my 9 this year. 2008 orange. Winter is coming and I want to make sure I’m set for next year.
Problems I already identified that I know I need to fix are:
1st gear shudder - I’ll get a new clutch basket either a 2011 oem or aftermarket.
Hard shift - putting in shift star.

So where am I going with this? I need some help please.
So I don’t have any service manuals for this bike.
my bike is a 2008 with 50,000km. What else should I be doing?

I have noticed some power shudder when accelerating gears 3-5 and the neutral rattle.
I know my bike is stock. Doesn’t even have a k&n filter

I was thinking of also replacing the front engine mounts with rears? As Prevention.

Great thread. I'm in the same boat. 54,300km on the clock.

This off season I'm thinking of spark plug, new coolant/hoses. Typical oil/hub changes.
Was thinking about checking the valves too but who knows.

For your 1st. Gear shudder. Get ahold of Matt/AKA FutureR, he can hook you up, you need a modified clutch pin, which he can do.

The neutral rattle you hear is coming from your clutch basket, I push my tabs back down which helped a lot, but if your buying a new clutch basket will fix that issue.
