Default power to the fuel tank????

Hi there. I have a 2011 that wouldn't start the code came up with a tip over sensor, i changed it and it fired up right away. that only lasted a couple of hours. change it again which cleared the code but still doesnt start. Relay checks out, checked all the wires. there is 12 volts going to the fuel pump (yellow and red wire) only when hitting the starter button. pump does not prime either way. do you think it's fair to say that it's the fuel pump. I just don't understand how there is no power going to the pump before hitting the start button?

    thanks

This plug under the tank has a tendency tu push out the
wire clips with wires from other side of the connector when
reconnectinhg. I would definitely check it.

Download the service manual. There is a troubleshooting section that will walk you through the things to check. The clutch sensor, kickstand sensor, gear position sensor, a lot of sensors that could be causing this.

    Question

Has anyone replaced wiring or connectors on fuel pump?
