Are you planning on modding/improving the performance of your bike with such things like an aftermarket exhaust and air intakes? If so, have you considered going the route of having a Full ECU FLASH performed on your bike, once you’ve added your exhaust and air intakes? Right now, the Full ECU FLASH, 2 into 1 exhaust, and open air intakes that allow for greatly-increased air flow seems to be the BEST performance-combination out there for the M109R, without adding a Turbo Kit or Nitrous.
Having gone through the complete modding, upgrading, and customizing process with two of my 9s already, I’m taking the approach of starting with the performance mods first, on this third and most-recent 2014 LE model I have. Yes, I have the exact same bike you have. I got it back in September, 2019 for an unbelievable price...with only 1,306 original miles on it. The bike now has a whopping 1,321 miles on it. I’m going to create a new meaning for the “LE” moniker, by the manner in which this bike is going to be modified. I have done my due diligence, and after much deliberation I have finally settled on an overall scheme/theme I want for the bike. Once all of my performance mods/upgrades have been completed, I’ll then begin adding the fat wheels & tires combo, 300 swing arm, suspension upgrade, front & rear aftermarket turn signals, aftermarket foot pegs, custom derby cover, paint and powder coating, custom Corbin Rider and Passenger Seats w/Backrests, and lastly a one-off custom set of LEDs...to include wheel lighting.
