Default 170 Front Tire on Stock Rim

I put this Shinko on a few weeks ago. I had to reform the back of the fender a little bit as it barely scraped. Its smooth.

What did you do to “reform” the back of the fender? A 160/60 barely fits underneath the stock front fender. I couldn’t imagine going any bigger than that with a stock front fender installed on the bike. I suspect your tire is a size 170/50/R18.
