Default Corona Virus.. no one touches my bike but me. Gotta ride..

I'm in a state that hasn't yet shut down restaurants, gyms, etc, but it's likely coming. This stuff is crazy. I work from home and look forward EVERY DAY to getting out. I have to get out.

If it all shuts down, I'll still be riding. Thank God I have a car, even better thanks I have a bike. No one rides in it, no one touches it, and I'm breathing wide open air when I'm on it.

Funny but as this stuff gets worse, I keep thinking about getting out. Almost time to ride, peace and stay safe..

Tomorrow I will be riding with two friends. We will pack lunches instead of stopping to eat in a restaurant as we usually do.

Aaaaaaaaand I was wondering when the topic would rear itís ugly head on the board. But since it has, let me just say this brothers and sisters...Iíve seen and heard WAY too many friends and family members mad at each other and throwing away relationships over the politics that may or may not be involved with all of it. If there is or isnít I personally donít care because itís not worth fighting about.

Look Iím not as old and wise as some of you fine folks on here, but I have been fortunate to live long enough to know this world is changing right before our eyes. Sometimes itís easier said than done but remember to be kind, help those who canít help themselves, and remember that difference in opinion IS okay.

I donít know in what higher power each of you believe in, but I personally believe in God and pray that EACH of you and your families remain safe and well through all of this. Ride safe everyone!

Good advice thanks. Maybe this isn't the best topic or best forum to start the topic through; I didn't want it to appear negative or "ugly head" like. 🙂 But I do indeed appreciate having the freedom a bike offers, and wanted mainly to express that. Still not a bike topic though. But good advice stay safe

Trust me, your topic was not negative in any way so I hope you donít think I was calling you out for that. It has just really been shocking to me to see how divided people become over the topic the more it unfolds and longer it goes on. I just wanted to kick the political mess out of here before it even started. We are riders and we all enjoy Boulevards so we are a pretty smart bunch to begin with!

If anyone is looking at this virus from a political standpoint they have a very warped sense of reality to start with.
I can assure you this virus does not care if you are Left, Right, Moderate, Republican, Constitutional Conservative, Democrat, Socialist or Communist......it will effect you all equally and will not discriminate.

Best thing we can do is come together as citizens of this planet and each do our part to isolate and keep the virus from spreading as much as possible.

I am isolated on this ship and my family (at least the ones I have any control over) are now well stocked & isolated at home.
They will remain there until this virus has had time to burned itself out.....which will eventually happen, this is not the first time we have faced such things. (and it will not be the last)

Six does make a great point...... having a bike is the perfect way to get out in the open air and somewhat safely have a little fun, to take our minds off the current situation.
Just be smart at the pumps, remember they say this virus can live on any surface up to a full day.

    Ya'll stay safe out there.

Thanks I didn't think you were calling me out. Man I've been in a dozen Skype meetings since yesterday with hundreds of participants. It's definitely on everyone's mind with every company having a protocol. At first I thought we were overreacting, but hearing big manufacturers and distributors talking about their protocols, I think we're doing pretty damn well overall. We'll beat this, it's gonna hurt but we'll beat it.

But yes getting on the bike yesterday cleared my head big time. Doing it again shortly. Gear up and enjoy

Wax that puppy up really good and then go up to 110 mph quickly and that should shed any Corona virus off your bike.

Oklahoma is in a state of emergency now. All bars, malls, private clubs, restaurants, theaters, etc. ordered closed until April 16th. So, TSHTF here. Our guvnor even uttered the words shelter-in-place yesterday. I'm well stocked on everything I need, should that event occur. Fortunately, I have parts to put on four of my five vehicles. So I'll keep busy. LOL!!

Same thing is happening here in NC. I work from home and only go out once a week to the post office and bank. I did go out each day to the gym, but now that is closed. I have a park across the street from me, so I put in 4+ miles this morning. My biggest issue will probably be that the wife is switching over to working at home 4 days a week. She has been setting up an office and mentioned that she could move out to my office with me (I am in the area above my detatched garage, and she will be in the bonus room above the attached garage). I told her that there wasn't enough room in my place for both of us, so she should stay in the house. Her new schedule starts next week, so we will see how that goes.

Wife moving her work into your workspace.....predicting pregnancy or divorce for you my friend.

COMPLETELY KIDDING! Just trying to find humor in all the changes. Nice move, I know sheíll appreciate the house more.
