Default Upgraded to 2019 M109 BOSS

My 2007 M109R has some secondary drive issues so while I take my time and repair that I went ahead and upgraded to a 2019 B.O.S.S. I’m super excited, rides like a dream. Already installed crash bars. Going to do some LED lights, new Exhaust, Tuner, get some little custom things here and there. Just wanted to share with the group, also wanted to get some ideas on a 2 to 1 exhaust, would like to make some noise with this.

I was over at my local Suzuki shop yesterday. I like the grey one with the black stripe. Having said that, I already have two bikes and will never get rid of my 06 for a newer model. I don't consider it an "upgrade". ;-)

Congrats on your new 19’ model LE Ambuttery, and welcome to the Forum, if I hadn’t already extended my welcome to you. It seems as if you’re off to a great start with your mods and upgrades. However, if you want your new beast to have a noticeable and great sounding growl at idle, and even more ferocious roar at the twist of the throttle, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND two very-well manufactured exhausts made by Hard Krome. You won’t be disappointed with either of them. It’s really a matter of styling/design preference between the two.

    1. Shorty SideBurner: It has a ferocious and deep sound, and has a bit louder roar than #2 listed below.

    2. Velocity Pro Race Short: It has a deeper note than the Shorty SideBurner at idle, but has a tremendous roar on throttle.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 2019 white! Same here.. My 2nd bike and my first 9. Judah made two solid recommendations, the Hard Krome Sideburner and Velocity Pro are very popular exhausts. I liked the megaphone style from Cobra on my old Bolt so I went with the Velocity Pro. I grabbed the full length and like it, a bit less noise at my right ear. Either look and sound great though. You'll want to get new gaskets and a servo eliminator. Most will recommend the Revo brand servo eliminator but I went with one off ebay which looks to be good quality:

Hard Krome Velocity Pro 2 into 1 long and short:

    Servo Elminator ebay and Revo:

Hard Krome makes a great product.. they take pride in their work, very well packed, no issues, clean install, and the Velocity Pro sounds awesome. It adds some volume.. low rumble at idle and deep roar with some growl rolling on & off throttle. Rolling off throttle you get this awesome deep gurgling sound, probably due to the half moon openings lining the entire muffler area: https://www.m109riders.com/forums/al...hmentid=386296

I love this exhaust it changed the bike for sure. At the time I didn't have space to store the stock exhaust. It's very nice quality/stainless, if anything get some money at a scrap yard.

She's wide.. I'm short but wanted to stand flat footed so I had links installed:

And Meancycles has plenty of intake kits available, I went the the LA Choppers as they were half the cost of most:

If you install aftermarket intakes you'll need a tuner, or better, send your ECU off for tuning. Member BCS Sparky has an ECU tune for the Velocity Pro exhaust. He just tuned my ECU and it runs fantastic.
