    Default Brakeaway

I’m looking at getting the Brakeaway cruise control for my 2019. Anyone have some tips for install? Is it pretty easy? Thanks in advance.

It is not hard at all. The new version is a lot better than the first version. Look up the version you need, then they have install videos on their site. Just follow it. Should take no more than half hour give or take.

It will matter what grips you have. When I changed my grips, they were just a tad bigger in diameter than the stock ones so it wouldn't work correctly. I ended up scratching my new grips and having to break the cruise control to get it off.

How do I know what the new version is? I’m probably gonna order straight from their site. Also, I just have stock grips.

I have the old version so I don't know the difference in the newer one but, I have been running one for about 15 years. Very reliable.

The newer version looks like it has an added bracker versus the old version. I have the old version as well

Here is the new version based on their web site. The old version doesnt have that thin extra arm on it. Here is a pick of new version.
