Default Need urgent help with FI alarm

    Hello guys

I have replaced my stock exhaust two years back on my 2013 M109R with Cobra speedster swept and i debaffled it to

couple of days back the FI alarm went on, i took it to the dealer and he told me that the code is C46: Exhaust control valve actuator (EXCVA) and to replace it should cost me 350usd ++, but the technician explained to me that this sensor is just there to work with the stock exhaust and i can just install any aftermarket eliminator to disable the FI alarm

is it by any mean alarming? and should i replace the sensor or just buy healtech ES eliminator or any other one to get rid of the alarm as advised by couple of guys

go to ebay and search M109R servo buddy. It is simple plug and play and tricks the ecu to think that it has the servo on there. When you did your exhaust, there was a metal cam that went on your servo and was attached to the exhaust bracket. That tricks the ecu as well, and also is know to go bad. Once you put your servo buddy on, you can undo the servo itself and just remove the big black box from the bike for good.

Or if you were planning on having your ECU flashed, have BCS do it and he will disable it directly on the ECU.
