    Default Just purchased a 2007 Boulevard M109R

    Hi all

Just purchased a 2007 M109R ( White) after having sold my Goldwing ( GL1500) haven't picked up bike yet-much to cold here still to ride, but hoping she treats me well. Sure will be posting lot's of questions for you resident experts as I am not a wrencher of note. In Vancouver, BC Canada.

    Default Pics ?

Congrats...great bike, closing in on 100Kwith my 07...what’s your milage ? Always make sure your clutch cable is adjusted properly..little slack, about 2 quarters stacked in the lever..simple . This paint shaker realy moves around so a taught cable will pull out of the barrel..look at the cable at the lever and if you see any fraying at the barrel, replace.
dont over fill the oil.3600ml max..oil changes are simple,so is changing gear oil..

do the simple stuff yourself and enjoy many miles in those BC mountains !!

    welcome to the group .

An 07 with that few miles means you should look over all the rubber bits like the air intake tubes, the fork seals, and calipers. It has spent most of it's life sitting. Congratulations on the bike. Definitely different from a Gold Wing.
