Question 2014 M109R - How much oil after oil sump repair?

Hey folks, need some advice. I have a 2014 M109R. It bottomed out over a bump and cracked the oil sump. The oil sump is now repaired and back on. I need advice on how much oil to pour in. The manual says 3.6 litres for a usual oil plus filter change, but I suspect it may need more this time as the sump was removed and oil dripped out. Is 4 litres a good ballpark to start with? I will check the oil by the 15/3 method after it has warmed up and add more if required, but want to avoid oil puking out of the left air filter. Thanks in advance.

If you think all the oil was drained out . 3.5 is a good starting point
