What do you recommend that's sweet & simple to mount & hookup?

Hopefully u can see. Back plate of headlight housing. Easy to position, hidden, clean, and close to handlebars to use a short cable to the phone.

Also these are very easy to wire. Yeah, and reads your current bat voltage. So there is that :-)

That's what I purchased. Can't really give you any step by step as I haven't documented it, but you open up the headlight housing, drill at the desired spot a hole big enough for this to go through, pull through, and then tighten with the nut that comes on it. I have a wire coming straight from the red bat terminal into the housing for some other purpose, used that, and wired second wire to ground. Mine came with a fuse inline on red wire so it's ready to go.

    Took about 15 min

I have a female cigarette lighter plug zip tied up under my tach. This allows me to upgrade or change out chargers as technology changes. Having a fast charger in there is pretty nice as most modern phones are power hungry, and when I'm riding on longer trips I usually have GPS and bluetooth going so I want my phone to stay topped up.
