    Default under cutting gears

I have the engine torn down and while I'm there I would like to do this mod. Does any one know how to under cut transmission gears? Is it beveled in two directions? What is the angle of the bevel? Any details or info regarding this is much appreciated.

Thanks for the info. So is a 3 degree under cut about standard? Did you do all of the gears? How long did it take to do?

7 deg looked a bit extreme to my eyes, but i hav,nt tried the cluster so cant advise tbh, you can feel grip of the backcut if you try to pull them apart while twisting
and each dog takes about 5 mins i guess, i cut into the back edge about 1mm deep, then advanced towards the front (worn) corner cutting shallower and shallower, so that i only took a lick off the worn bit
and i think its just the 2nd gear really, best to check yours and then decide
