Is this part painted to match the stock gloss black paint or is it just primed?

If this is the fiberglass version they sell (the original), that’s a great price

Yes...fiberglass. I just checked the packing slip. I bought new on 11/13/2013. The part number is LM-03M-101. Never opened or installed....would you like it?

What cutout are you talking about? I only see the one where it fits around the footpeg bracket. Has to have that to fit. The lower opening? I like it, makes changing the filter easy! LOL!!

The cut out in the center where most folks put mesh in it. Not the opening for the oil filter or where the footpeg brackets fits.

I had mesh in mine but it was cheap looking after a couple seasons so I took it out and modded a way to mount the Cobra so it looks like it's floating in the opening

Exactly had the same issue. Until i hit a small piece of tired and it punched mine right out. I was gonna get another one without it cut out and put something similar in it like you have done with the Cobra
