    Default m109 and c109 exhaust

Is there a difference between the exhausts from a c109 yo a m109? I found an exhaust I like that fits a c109 and I am wondering if it will fit a m109?

Yes, there’s a huge difference. The pipes for a C109 are not compatible with an M109R. The exhaust muffler could look very similar, but the header pipes will be totally different from one another.

I was wondering, because...Are they not the same engine?

They’re both 109 cubic inch engines, but there are distinct differences in how the exhausts must fit each one, due to the overall design of the bikes. The M109R is a sport/muscle cruiser, whereas the C109 is considered a traditional cruiser. Therefore, the engine placements and exhaust designs are not the same, thereby making the exhausts not interchangeable.
