    Default Arnott air ride

I've been through the instructions many times and have pre assembled everything I can before getting started. My big question is, is there really a need to drill through the upper hole and retap it , when you could just use a longer bolt than stock, but shorter than provided to mount the pump?

I don’t have the Arnott sysytem, but one that mounts the same way. I didn’t drill and tap. I did exactly what you said

I figured that it would be good. The pump is not going to vibrate that much and hey Lock tite is always an option.
