    Default Kuryakyn kinetics grip

I got kuryakyn kinetic grips for my m109
I sanded down throttle tube before pushing on grip but it look funny. Should I sand that white pice that itís sticking out for grip yo ho all the way to starter switch box?

That's weird looking. Do they make them specifically for the M109R? I have the Avon grips but they come with the throttle tube so you don't have to glue them to the stock tube. I had Oxford grips that went over the stock tub and completely covered it including the piece you have sticking out

I got it from revzilla. It says itís universal but also that it fits m109r. But they stopped on matching stuff on 2014 m109r on there search engine. Mine is 2018. Maybe Suzuki has change something

If you just bought the grips for 1" bars and not for the bike specifically then they may not have accounted for the throttle tube flange. They may have been for Harley 1" bars

You should have enough length as if they are like the Avon grips, they are much longer than stock. Then you could cut or sand down the tube flange so the grip will move closer the the factory cover plate

You may be better off to just fall back 15 yards and punt.

I just purchased these (see link below), you can see that the throttle connection tube is integrated into these grips so no chance you will have the same problem with these as you do with your present grips.

I actually wanted these grips in Chrome like pictured but I ended up getting black.

I was just going to say hell with it and install the back ones as its not that big of a deal to me, but if you are interested in these I would sell and send you this black set for $80 delivered. (They are brand new and unopened)

I would then reorder again and hopefully get a chrome set this time.

Let me know if you are interested.....if not the black ones will be going on my bike.

Now I think I would be able to make that grip I already have to work but I cannot adjust position of switch box. I was under impression that I can do that since grips can be different length. I did that on my old bike. But switch box on my m109 have a pin that have to go into hole in the handle bar. So I cannot change position of the box. Any ideas guys?

    Itís getting better!
I ordered new grips from Cycle Gear, it said its going to fit 2018 m109r.
Problem is that mine is m109rb and for some reason itís not going to fit! Thatís what website says. Is it because that pin in switch box?
