    Happy Birthday Sean.

Another one who got stuck between Christmas and New Years.

Either you get over looked.....or the party last for a week straight

It definitely has its drawbacks, but there are some advantages too. I always have my birthday off. Iím 47 years old and Iíve never worked or gone to school on my birthday.

I prefer the week long party!

    Thanks everyone!

Had a great day. Spent the morning with family, the afternoon riding the twisted pavement for about 3 hours or so with a white Spyder chasing after me, then out to dinner with Georgia.

I hear ya, mine is the 30th so I am sort of in the same boat, but not as fortunate as you.

I owned my own contracting business for a over 15 years so I have worked on a lot of birthdays.

This year I will actually be working on my birthday here on the ship for the first time, but at least Sunday is my last day and we will party hard Sunday night and then again on Monday night for New Years as well.
(Then take a week to recover.....I am turning 50 so the extended parties really take a toll on me now. My mind thinks I am still in my 20's but my body usually veto's that notion these days)

Was thinking to go skydiving for my 50th but we are in the NW in the Seattle area for the holidays this year and it does not look like great weather here for jumping from 13,000 feet. (But with enough Tequila who knows)

Anyway, hope you had a great B-day and enjoy your New Year celebrations.
