Looking pretty slim for us right now. Dealing with a lot of personal **** in life. I'll have to see as time gets closer. Missed it last year and was really looking forward to going this year but sometimes things in life are out of my control. Only got out once last year and right now this year isn't looking much better.

IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW FAST YOU GET THERE, IT'S ABOUT THE RIDE ITSELF. TAKE YOUR TIME AND ENJOY IT!!

Bumping this back up with a new video.

This video was from last October when we were down in Maggie Valley for the Spyder rally. Brad and Bary came down and rode with us. This ride is the Devilís Whip (NC 80) the entire ride is good, but the steep (9% grade), and really curvy part starts around 6:25 when a SUV / Crossover decides he needs part of my lane to make it around the curve. The video doesnít do this road justice. It is a really steep, curvy, and technical road. If you decide not to watch all of it, be sure to skip to the end to hear Brads response when I asked him, ďso what do you think about itĒ.

Sorry about the vibrations. It is the GoPro mount.

Great road Sean. I had the wife in October, so I didn't get to do that one. It is on my list for June. Hwy 63 off to the east of 209 is also a nice road. And the good thing is that it is a nice, short ride for our brothers from up north that only like to ride 50 miles at a time.

Can't wait to be back there :)
If you haven't been to MAM or that area to ride, everyone should really get out there.

Ok peeps, we are just barely over a couple of weeks before all the shenanigans begin with a very eventful week. So, start your checklists and make your trip down/over a safe one.

So, on a separate note, QB had planned on being there this year, but will not be able to make it. He called me last night and he has to have surgery on his good shoulder. For those that know/remember him, you know why this is a huge issue for him. He is not happy about it, but they plan to do it on the 19th. So keep him in your prayers.

Also, a member that went last year is wanting to know if anyone is looking to share a room to cut costs. He will be heading down on the 17th, but may have to leave on Saturday to head back. If you are interested, hit me up and I will get you in touch with him.

I have an interesting project that hopefully will be started on before I leave for the MAM---- if all the parts ever arrive. I will be a good conversation topic for the event.

I hope everyone has a safe trip and a great MAM this year! So let the count down begin!

Hey Matt, what about T-Shirts for the 2019 MAM? I haven’t seen anything posted about purchasing T-Shirts for this year’s MAM event. Are you guys having them made for the event this year?

BTW, I’ll have something coming your way very soon, and you know what it is.

Hey Bobby, I just placed my order for a shirt. However, the ordering process asked for a name on the sleeve. I’m hoping that means I’ll be getting a long sleeve t-shirt instead of a short sleeve. It didn’t specify during the ordering process. Did you have the same issue?

Jeff has the approval of the design. As of last week, he was supposed to be getting it all together and then making a post for the shirts. I have not seen a post yet, but he has been really busy.

I just commented on the facebook page for MAM 2019, but I realized I hadn't said anything here. I never get on here anymore.

Anyway, I will be there. Reservation still in place. John Kokel, aka Johnny K. Or Shred. Red 07. The slowest color with the worst second gear

No better place to wait it out than on your 9 in Maggie Valley!

I was looking forward to finally meeting you. Maybe next year?

I will be headed down and checking into the hotel on Sunday, 6/16. Anyone else planing to get there on Sunday? I plan to get my tents all set up on Sunday, and head out for a ride on Monday (pending weather). Iíll pick a shorter route and plan to be back at the hotel in the early afternoon to help out anyone who will be checking in, unloading, and setting up.

I will have my 10x20 and my 12x12 tents again this year, along with some extra chairs for anyone riding in. First come first served.

No worries Jerry. I have a spot reserved for you.
