I just did mine yesterday. You have to take the side cover off on the left-hand side and it’s tucked in underneath the battery

Ok so why did you change it out? Did it go bad, or did you have to change it for LED bulbs

I changed it our for LED bulbs. Added a REVO smoked integrated tail light, G5 Knightrider, relocated the plate and debeavered the bike 100% and re-wired the plate light. Got the fast flash, so changed it out. Still have the front blinkers to change out and an LED headlight conversion kit to go. More parts than time right now.

Just so others might need a pic. I am pointing to the stock relay with the screwdriver that need to be swaped out.
In front of the battery, behind the left side cover.

    hello guys,
I just purchased the tail with indicators incorporated.
Should also change the flasher relay ?
If yes, this one will be ok :

    The price sounds good ?

    Thx

Yup that's what you need. Also available on Amazon for cheap or AliExpress if you can wait 2 months for delivery, even cheaper.

$11 shipping seems a bit of a rip
.. but $20ish retail for the relay is average in Canada. AliExpress is China Direct and super cheap... but takes a month or two to arrive.

If you don't change the relay your signals will still work but you will get the stupid fast-flash problem.

    Haha np.
Be careful on the "fast" shipping... not sure "fast" means the same thing to us when translated from Chinese...lol.

I have paid the little bit extra for the fast shipping twice and gave up - once it *never* arrived (got a refund no problem...) and once it took the same as "free" shipping. Could have just been bad luck but I just resign myself to a month or two now and wait.

    YMMV.
    🙂

Crap. I just de-beavered my BOSS tonight, and installed an integrated LED tail light and I have LED signals for the front still to install.
I have the hyper-blink and knew that would happen so I looked up on Google and for some reason it said this 2 wire one was a direct replacement.

I think that was on Ali Express. Looks like now I have to buy a 7 pin relay. I do hate the spaz blinkers
