Hello David and Shane, Sorry I have not been on the site for awhile. Life and work has been hectic lately. David I got your text and I would be interested in getting out for some road therapy and good times with old friends.

Now if we can all get there early enough on Friday, we can possibly do a small ride that day as well.

Man, that's opening day of deer season. What "right minded Texan" goes anywhere on opening day other than deer camp?......Just sayin'....

Lol. I get it for I use to hunt for years. This happens to be the date that a few of us agreed on and went from there. There is also a wedding that day that one of our own loyal riders canít make. It is what it is.

Who knows, maybe itíll change between then and now.

Does anyone have a preference on hotels in Nacogdoches? Victoria Inn and Suites is $118 for both nights as of right now. Havenít called to see about a group rate yet.

When I pull up Victoria Inn, they are quoting me $98/night.

Take a look at this one. Best Western Inn Of Nacogdoches, 4.1 out of 5 with 414 reviews. Has a way better review and has breakfast and is a bit closer to downtown for $71/night.
But Im good with whatever. How many are actually planning on coming?

The wife and I will be there. We are good for anytime to meetup for riding except the month of September, its our closeout at work.
Im actually down for more meetups. Nacogdoches is pretty close to the middle for everyone I think. Most will come from the cities along I35 and Houston.

Although Iím new to the area, I too would like to see more meetups. Iíve never attended a major meetup, but Iím extremely excited about the idea of this upcoming meetup being my first.

Us too, we have hardly riden this year, didn't have much of a spring and the wife doesnt care to ride much when the temp gets above 90+

I canít say that I blame her on that one Dreamer. Iíve been on about 3 rides through the back roads to and from neighboring towns around San Antonio (great roads for riding) when it was 95+, and it was brutal at times during the rides. However, despite the scorching heat, I really enjoyed the rides.
