Default Might be changing to AL eer

My company may be moving me to AL. I would have a choice between Birmingham and Huntsville. Given that I will probably die of heat and humidity my first summer there, which location will my family probably enjoy retrieving my body from more?

What can you tell me about Huntsville that makes it the better choice?

It is more rural feel to it even though the size of both cities are close to the same.

    Default Huntsville or Bham

I have lived in the Huntsville/Madison, Alabama area since June 2012. I think your choice should be based number of children, hobbies and job opportunities. I personally could live in either. I am retired AF so I learned to make wherever I lived my home. If you like big city life and tall buildings I would say Bham. If you are more laid back and like the outdoors I would say Huntsville. Huntsville is growing very fast and has a lot of employment opportunities. https://www.huntsvilleal.gov/
