    Default Arizona bound

I just wanted to let anybody I've met here on the forum know that my house sold and I'll be leaving for Arizona in mid January so I hope we get a couple more rides in.

I just mived from Gilbert, AZ about a year ago. On the other side of the valley from where you are headed. They have a very big bike night in Glendale. Should check it out. Its held at the Cardinals stadium I believe on Tuesdays. There is also a bike night Saturday nights in Scottsdale at the Pavillions. There they have all kinds of cars and bikes. I wish I was moving back. Nice riding also, and no bugs and the roads are nice compared to TX roads.

Ohh, there are some non riding times of year. July thru August. And you will learn to leave at 0500 and be done before noon, before the heat geta to ya. But no humidity. But the winter time is awesome.

Is there a lot of people from the forum there? I checked the Arizona state forum and there is not much activity.

Nope, very few 9's there. It seems like there leprchans...lol

There are a couple around but myself and Terry "TJKBear" were the only ones that stuck around on the 9. Shoot him a PM when you get settled. He is still in AZ out where you will be located.

Most everyone out there runs Harleys.

There is also a group of VTX folks we used to ride with but they have pretty much all scattered.

Hi, congratulations, Arizona, just a dream for me! I have a few friends living there, I'm hoping to visit. Would you happen to have an extra m109r I could rent? I just would love to explore a place on the 9. I can't seem to find a shop that rents them.

Can you keep keep me in mind if you run across one or two in your Arizona travels.

Mmmm lucky man! Time to populate that place with some 9s, lol

There're two of us here in Tucson that I know of. I'm running the '14 BOSS and the other guy's running a red model.

Only guys I've seen riding in a group around here are Harley jockeys.

My favorite route there is Yarnell to Prescott to Sedona. Its route 89A, take it all the way up just before you hit Flagstaff. There are a couple 9's there, not to many.
