    Default Fork stiff ?

I own a 2006 and my forks (front) are very stiff compared to a 2014 M109r from riding day by Suzuki.

    Any ideas.......?

Do you mean the forks springs feel stiffer then 2014? When you brake hard, the 'newer' bike 'dips' more??

Most likley you have spring sag, and its sitting down at the front, so will be firmer. See how much the front lifts when you unload it off the forks, i bet its more than the later model.

Yes, but most of the people install stiffer springs then originals. as far as I read on this site.. :-)
