Default MeanCycles T-Rex Parts on Revo's 109 BOSS

Rainey (REVO) is putting together another nice 9 using MeanCycles parts / T-Rex Dash and Radiator Shroud.
Thanks for working with us Rainey, also for helping the forum members on the last group buy (I don't think it was mentioned)

    Here are some pics.

Have a good riding weekend all!

Default do it for the 90

while i'm a 9 rider i know the 90 riders would love to see this or something like this for their bikes. you need to reach out to the manufacturer and see if they can do something special for the 90. Big op if you ask me.

Been talking with JC at Meancycles. He has one chrome T Rex dash left. Looks like it's going to be mine here shortly.

Came in on Friday, but the folks in the office never told me. Picked it up today. Would have had it on already if I'd have known it was in the office. Grrrrr!!!!!!!

Really heavy piece here. J.C. said it was not perfect, but I cannot detect any flaws where it would matter. LOL to him for sending me a custom flask. Is he encouraging drinking and riding?

Should have time to mess with it tomorrow. It's also going to be 65 degrees, in December.

Got it installed yesterday. Simple and it fit just as good as the stock one. Yes, you can use a tank bra with it. The only thing you have to do different than stock is replace the screws that hold the speedo on with different ones. The stock screws are flat bottomed and do not go into the provided holes. I bought some #10 x 3/4 self tapping screws and used a washer on each one. Perfect. The last photo shows that this piece has ears on it that extend further down the front of the tank than the stock piece does. I'm very happy with the fit-and-finish of this product.

Guess he's still making them then. He told me when he emailed me he only had this one left. But he did say he'd found another place that can do the process for a reasonable price. I paid $350.00 and that included shipping, a key ring and a custom and cool flask.

Another member ordered one the week before I ordered mine. I've not seen anything from him yet, on the parts arrival or install.

I will say, there is one small defect in the chrome, near the fuel cap area. It's not large, nor is it outstanding. So I'll just live with it for the time being. JC did say it was not perfect. But it's damn close. Close enough for me. It's on a ten year old bike that has some age flaws anyhow. So it's no big deal.

The company that chromes those parts for me sometimes shuts down for moths, reason why I don't like to offer them to customers when I don't have them in hand, same story with the chrome chin scoops... Right now they are chroming 3 chin scoops and 3 more T-Rex dashes, hope to get them in 10 days.
The process to chrome fiberglass is CRAZY! That's why is expensive.. Someone gave me an info of a company in Indiana, called them and they wanted $550.00 to chrome a chin scoop!

Here are a few more pics without the tank bra on. I am really impressed with this piece. The lines are perfect. The two ridges that run from the speedo to the end are perfect. Must have taken a lot of sanding by someone with a good eye to get those so perfect. J.C. has three more in the chroming process now.
