Hi there- I've a set of RH pipes, unused, for sale, price £ 250 (approx. half price). located in Bristol,or could post. With these pipes you need to incorporate an O2 bung in the rear cylinder header. I can advise on method I used on another set which didn't involve welding,if it helps.Oh,and because the baffles are removable, shortening them (as I've also done on another set) is a doddle.Anyway.Chew it over.

Not meaning to Jack your thread but did you say that you had shortened the Roadhouse slip ons before? Do you have any pics? Thanks, Mike.

Hi no pics, sorry. As I recall,it's possible to take 10 1/2 inches off, before you start to undermine the bracketing arrangement irreparably. You can also swivel the end caps,so they look closer to stock, albeit four small holes will need to be drilled (which would be required if you shortened them anyway). I took as my inspiration some photos posted on this website from another guy in Bristol,uk,who had undertaken the much more onnerous task of shortening stock pipes-type "Customizing your stock exhaust" into the search feature, when guitarmans' thread appears, scroll down to reply #10,pics are there.A bonus with RH pipes is you can incorporate Supertrapp disc assemblies within the caps & thus tune your F/A mixture that way.
