Im not in the USA and cannot find the metzeler front tire to match the me880 260 metzeler rear tire. The oly thing I could find is a Perilli 160 60 18. Would that work? Any suggestions?
What everyone is saying here, is that you ask for "Metz 160 rear tire" at your local store, and then use it for your front wheel but mount it in the opposite direction,.. Many of us did it with no problem,...
You should also put a spacer on your front fender as the bigger tire sits very close to the fender without the spacer and something as small as a small rock in the tread could crack your fender.
I understand its a rear tire used for the front and its very expensive to ship it from the USA or even Germany which is closer. Has anyone tried different tire brands simultaneously one brand for the front one for the rear. Is it a problem or not recommended.
Has anyone tried Michelin 240 40 18. They are selling them here very cheap but dont have the front tire sizes.
