Default How many "original" members are still here ?

Any members from 2006 to 2008 still on this site ?

Haven't heard from too many lately and just wondered where they might be or what they might be riding now.

Still here, and still riding the 109. Don't post as much as I used to, but I still respond to a lot of PM's and reply when it looks like someone needs an answer to something I've done myself. Don't see me ever leaving here, even if I didn't have the 109 anymore. Not that that will happen any time soon either.

Still here. Very active here and also on the spyder lovers forum. No 109 right now, but that can be fixed. Unless I come across a deal on a Vmax first.

Bro, it's great to see you're still on here. I've only seen maybe one post from you in the past year. Hope things are going well.

I was on this site from 2006 to 2008. There was a big dust up with another 109 website. members from this site, on that site, talking **** about members here. Had to be invited to join that site. I was. Found out what was going down, came back here and let it all out. Lots of pissed off people. I deleted over 5000 posts and left for a year. Came back in 2009. Of all those 5000 posts, there are still the quotes remaining. Once in awhile, on a really old thread, I spot one.

I bought my bike in July 2006. Had it almost nine years now. Plan on having it a lot more than that before all is said and done.

Any of you old hands remember when Lamonster used to post all day every day? And JR the wheelie King, always posting pics of his 109 with the front wheel high up in the air? Those were the days.

Why and how does a two year time frame from 2006 to 2008 qualify members as being "original"? Shouldn't the "original" members be those who started the forum and joined in on the first day it was officially established?

It had to grow, there would be like 4 or 5 of us if you're just talking about the peeps from the first month or two. I was one of the first in my part of the state to buy a 109 and I had a question about it a few days later and found this place

    Kenny,

My problem is no room in garages for another bike so a trade in is not going to happen. I turned down $6,000 ($6,400 with tax difference) last April on the F6B. I wish I had talked to you before I declined.

Still with ya'll, and still on the same 109.

Probably have one of the lowest post/year ratios but the site has kept me thoroughly entertained and educated.

Thanks to all the members 'young' and 'old'.

A Honda ST1300? ? ? People usually go up in power, why down grade? I mean gas has DROPPED over the years. Surprised that we are not seeing a serge in Boss Hoss's.

I'd call a Boss Hoss a downgrade before I called an ST one. Actually, I wouldn't call a Honda ST a downgrade at all.
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

    Still here, still posting...

I believe that people have a right to decide their own destinies; people own themselves. I also believe that, in a democracy, government exists because (and only so long as) individual citizens give it a 'temporary license to exist'—in exchange for a promise that it will behave itself. In a democracy, you own the government—it doesn't own you. ~Frank Zappa
