also chrome on the forks, brake pedal, and some other bits. It really doesn't stick out that bad. In person it's well balanced. In photos it looks worse because its shinier than the other chrome bits I guess.

will still consider blacking it out

About entering the competition I was thinking about it. But the weather is really overcast and chitty.
So need good weather and the single seat cover on. Plus a polish for maximum shine.

Sunday here looks like goodish weather, so hopefully then.

About to go for a 2 drive right now

Polish? you just bought it they don't get much shinier then that! LOL

Yep, I like it all but the yellow. Not that it looks bad but it makes me think of the Steelers. When they try other colors, I might jump. I like my black but opted against the BOSS 90 because of it's lack of power. It's a mean looker, don't get too many bugs in your teeth while riding and smiling.

When you do things right, people won't be sure you did anything at all.

Default 2 More with Seat Cover on

2 More with the seat cover on.
Have removed the stickers since these 2 shots this morning and its been polished.

I must admit, the color comes out really strongly when polished and the paint quality is top notch.

I like. Love the all white 'M' but this is OK.

Agree, that's my biggest worry about the Boss too.

am looking forward to not having to polish the exhausts though

Not really. I owned a blacked out thunderbird storm and was the easiest thing in the world to keep clean.
much easier than the chrome. Chrome looks dirty quickly, the blacked out stayed cleaner looking for a lot longer.

Only thing that worries is if I get a deep scratch

    Thumbs up

I love my chrome but, having everything blacked out has it's advantages. The first is; you don't see the dirt and you don't have to polish it out. Just wipe it down and goooooo!!!! LOL.. Enjoy your new superboss , too bad its the end of the good weather. Be safe

Not the same at all, trust me. It doesnt show the dirt as much as a normal painted surface.
Ive Just come back from a 6 hour long ride, normally I would be cleaning it after the ride, no dirt to be seen except for the normal pained parts on the bike (Tank, Fender etc)

Im very impressed. It was a worry, I can highly recomend blacked out bike now, for looks and keeping clean and cleaning.

    Thanks for the comment.
its such a cool color combo for me. I still can't believe I own it, lol.
i don't even notice the chome indicator covers at all. Blends well with the chrome badge and other chrome bits. It's not noticeable at all. Well to me anyway.

i want to enter September pic competition, but trying to get better weather for some better shots.

not sure if I will have time.

think one of those 2 would be good enough?
