Default Nursing Home Resident Dead After Confrontation With Police

A 95-year-old resident of an Illinois nursing home died early Saturday, hours after being shocked with a Taser and bean bag rounds in a confrontation with police.
Authorities said John Warna was a resident at Victory Centre of Park Forest, on the 100 block of South Main Street in the south suburb. He was threatening paramedics and staff with a cane and a metal shoehorn when police arrived at the complex, they said.

What is wrong with the screening process for cops these days? How can you look yourself in the mirror, much less face your fellow officers when you have used a taser and bean bags on a 95 year old man. Another instance of sorry a$$ policing.

What are they going to do if the NRA gets their way and anyone can walk around armed. USE DRONES?

I believe his benefits ran out with the insurance company, and all other assets had been bled dry.

Seems like another fantasy, the NRA does NOT want everyone walking around with guns. in fact , quite the opposite, they want responsible gun owners. You guys dream things up way too much. Lay off the rhetoric...

Seems a little excessive, a Taser and bean bag rounds. Pretty sure you could have taken the menacing 95 year old down with a bean bag round to the gut........
