The weather isn't that bad the problem is elevation changes which leads to snowy conditions.

This is a simple topo showing just how mountainous the West is... only the Appalacian Range back East, but a poor comparison at that.
That's a neat map, where is it from?

Notice Nebraska, it's a sheet of glass compared to anything else!

Nope, we're going to burn and turn. We'll head down I5 to Hwy 53 into KFalls. Then head straight home. Oh and sly I'd love to get it to Montana but with the weather it would be an even longer wait I'm no V10Killer

So, Viper Ace and myself made the trip to Kalamath Fall to meet Peanut (Paul). I have a few pics of our day but I'm not sure of the names of the mountains I took pics of along HWY 58 Willamette Pass. Without further a due here's some pics of scenery!

Here's a pic of me in front of the first covered bridge I've seen in Oregon. This bridge is just east of Eugene,Or. on the Willamette Pass which was one of the most beautiful stretches of HWY I've had the pleasure of riding so far this season. Highway cuts through and over some pretty rugged terrain with rivers lakes and ski resorts along the whole stretch of HWY.

Here's the lake that the covered bridge was on!

This is a picture of Spring Creek (100% spring fed) along HWY 97 about 30 miles north of Kalamath Falls.

Maybe Ace can chime in on this and tell you guys which mountain this is.....

I need Ace's help on this one as well....
This is the mountain west of Odell Lake!

    Now the Baton hand off.

Her is a pic of Peanut and myself doing the trade off. Sorry I didn't get pics of Ace signing the Flag but he did get his name on there.

Here's Pics of the 9's that showed! Left to Right Viper22, DC, Ace4aDay, Peanut233416niner

After all the picture taking we went out and had lunch with Peanut and all his CVMA brothers that came along. Great bunch of guys and I was glad to meet you all. Ace, Peanut and his CVMA crew stayed the night in K Falls. I heard from Ace today and he said it was a chilly ride home but he made it safe and sound today. I hope Paul and his crew made it home safely as well. Paul I know your misses got a pic or two of us standing next to our bikes, post those bad boys up when you get a chance!

I'm thinking with all the names that will go on this you may want to prepare a second flag for signatures. This is just my opinion and the one we have may just work.

This is the mountain west of Odell Lake! Diamond Peak seen from Hwy 58.

I added a few things to the captions....and it's Klamath, not Kalamath. It only gets the extra 'a' if you're referring to it as Kalamity Flats.
