    Question Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner for a 2012 C109RT

    Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
This may be a noob question but I have recently purchased a brand new 2012 Suzuki C109RT Boulevard. I am keen to put a Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner on it, but looking at the tuner on the cobra site it states it's only for the 08-09 model of the C109R and 06-11 for the M109. The part is 92-1845AT.

    http://www.cobrausa.com/fuel_compare...t&model_id=142

I emailed Cobra and they wouldn't commit that it would fit/work as they haven't tested it on the 2012 C109.
I am wondering if this tuner would be suitable and fit on my model motorcycle? Are there any differences between the 08-09 model and the 2012 model? The bikes seem to be the same, just built in different years.
I had one of these tuners on my old C50 and they work a treat so I want to get one for my new bike.
Any advise/thoughts would be muchly appreciated.
    cheers
    Tedmick

I'm no expert but I seem to remember reading nothing has changed, and the 2010/2011 model line were just 09's again just re-branded..

You will find everything from the states sais 08/09 because they stopped selling C109s over there in 09. I have plenty of mods from a number of suppliers and have had no issues for my 2012 C109RT. I run the Power Commander 5, and am having no issues.

    Good luck mate.

Thanks for the replies, didn't realise they stopped the C109's in the States in 09. I reckon I might buy one and give it a go then!!!

    Lightbulb C-109's

According to my local dealer, Suzuki got hit very hard by the 2011 tsunami in Japan and that's why their bike production has been suffering. They supposedly are having to rebuild several new mfg. facilities? We have still been able to get the M109's in the U.S. but haven't seen anything of the C109R or the C109RT versions lately. Hope this sheds some light on a some-what dark subject.
