Been called thumper for as long as I can remember...several reasons depending on the time in my life. So I had to go with that and my initials.
2007 m109r red, E3 250, iso grips, stilleto pegs, V-stream touring windshield, TRE...and the list is growing

Motorcycles are perfectly safe, as long as you don't fall off and you don't hit anything.

Back in my early golfing days,me and a bunch of friends decided to join a club since we were playing quite a bit and paying full green fees was costing to much..we had the rock and roll hair going and we refused to wear the polyester pants..needless to say we didn't fit in to well..all the members were much older and the owners and management were all greek..After the first year of being treated like long haired freaky people we decided to do something about it..We gave each other Greek names, cut our hair and showed up opening day in goofy polyester golf-wear..the whole nine yards..nickers,high socks and old boy hats..the owners loved us after that and it broke the ice with the hard core golfing members..
The next 14 years were a blast !! The name i was given was Stavros and thats all i was called around the golf coarse..had a few others over the years, some better some worse..But Stav stuck the longest..

I've been called "Marine" for about the past 45 years.
But after seeing all the young kids coming back - literally blown apart - at the VA hospital, - I began feeling VERY old.
And, I needed a 'handle' for this place. Thus - "OldMarine"

way back when Al Gore invented the internet and I was alot younger and was racing RC cars. some of you know, back then, they were exclusively running on Nitro model fuel which is composed primarly from nitro methane, alcohol and castor oil. after a few years of getting known in that hobby i began making my own model fuel to cut expenses. after a time, other folks were asking me to make them a batch or two as it was getting very popular , my fuel was far cheaper than the commercial stuff and folks were winning races that were using it.. there were about 5 other Gary's in the hobby around here and nobody ever remembers last names, hence i became known as NitroGary.
