I finally found a deal on a goldwing I couldn't say no to. I've wanted a Goldwing for about 4 years (after riding one at the dealership)
I feel in love with the overall comfort, performance for a tourer and they handle well. I picked up a black 2006 with 19k for $4000.00 under
KBB from the original 70 year old owner, plus he threw in many extras. It does need a couple fresh tires, but the rest is showroom nice. I'll be
keeping the M109 for fun stuff. I think will be alot nicer ride for my wife, after all we aren't as young as we used to be.....lol, i'll post some pix after
I get it home in a couple days

Congrats on the new bike. My uncle has had one for over ten years He said its been the best bike he's ever owned. No major problems and keeps on going over 130000 miles. Not sure what year it is he bought it used.

For $4000 under KBB you practically stole that bike!

He said 4k UNDER KBB, not that he paid 4k. And from what I can see on KBB.com a 2006 Goldwing is between 14-16k, so a 2006 Gold wing for about 10-12k is what it's looking like he paid.

Thanks for all the congrats!, Yea, I paid $11000, thought for a bike in 90% condition, 90% only becuase of tires and a good cleaning (dusty) how can I say no, I did 2 tires because the were dry rotted from sitting for several months after owner had surgery. I love it so far and my wife can't wait to go for a ride...

A wing is on the top of my list soon. Considering change in jobs so I gotta wait until that gets sorted out though.

Gold Wings are everything Honda says it is and more. I have owned several over the years and can't say anything bad about them. They are almost bullet proof.

Sure enjoyed mine! Congrats on your touring bike....you are going to love it!

    Default UPDATE

Well, I've put several hundred miles on it already and so far, I very pleased. My wife has riden alot on this bike and seems to enjoy the
comfort back there, I heard her telling her girlfriends, " you guys gotta get one of these, they are the so comfy"... Well, that would be ok
if they got a wing, but I'm not riding with them,"upity clinched spinkters", if you know what I mean. lol....

$11,000 is a good find for a 2006. I almost bought one but somehow dropped the cash on a 2012 V-Strom. I figure I'll ride the Strom until Honda make a few changes other than cosmetic.

Congrats. The wing is on my list. I want a wing, Busa, and the 9. That would probably satisfy all my cravings.
