    very nice GR! i like the fact that your wife looks through the turn as well, you can tell that she rides. did you guys ever get her a replacment bike yet??

    No not yet. We're having a lot of fun riding 2up together. Maybe someday she'll get her own again. Another rider behind us said she would actually look into the curves before me. I guess she's the better rider!

    No doubt. The two of you seemed to react, and act as one on that bike. That was some very impressive 2 up riding that you were doing. Next time I may have to take the saddle bags off just to see if I can keep you two in my sights. I doubt if it will help, but I can always dream.

    Default Increase your the amount you can lean with body positioning.

    These are from the Total Control Advance Riding clinic. You can go through a curve VERY fast on a M109 provided you get the proper body positioning. These pics are not even close to being the optimal position; you should actually lean much further in on a tight corner. I'm getting the ones that are 100% Click image for larger version.

    I can scrape at will, full lock and scrape pegs in a slow parking lot too. All of these techniques are not easy and take practice. Question is, how good do you want to be? All of Total Control Advance techniques apply to ANY bike, sport, touring, cruisers, etc.

    Yeah..I hear you. I have the same scratch marks on my mufflers. That's as far as it will go and then I suspect it will low-side. The key for me is to take away as much of the lean angle as I can by pushing my body into the turn. Even knee-dragging is possible but obviously, that's useless to use on the public roads.
