    You are tempting me!!! :)

I just bought my 9 in January for US $8600 and I managed to more than double the price of it with all the shyte I bought for it and of course all the damn Canadian taxes, so 13.5 would not do it at all for me. Of course I don't even entertain the idea of selling. Right now I wouldn't even sell it for 20G's (CAD).
It was just way too much hassle and pain in the ass to get it where it is. I'm not a mechanic type, so to start another project just like this, a few G's would not worth it to me. And I get very attached to my bikes, I have a hard time to let them go.

Personally with the $$$ and hours I have into my bike no way would that be enough! I couldn't buy a bike and Mod it to level mine is at for that money, It would be a couple grand short. I know my bike is not worth that much as far as market value but it would be a big loss to sell for $13,500 and end up spending a lot more than that to get it back to where it is now...Scott I will buy yours today for $12,500 cash no questions asked! I will strip that beast down, get $20,000 grand for all your Mods and have a free stock 109 with cash in the bank! Tell me where to bring the trailer!!!

    I'd sell mine for $12k.

*Edit* Well, LTT just brought the market down. I guess mine is only worth $6500.

Hmmmm, I've asked myself this question time and time again and it's not an easy answer.

I would probably have to say somewheres around the $15k-$16k

A lender will only loan blue book at best for the bike, but he could try a personal loan. Most banks won't do it, but since credit unions are owned by it's members, they tend to be more flexible, if his credit is good and he has a decent job, he can probably get a personal loan for the transaction.

Yah, I'd take the money in a heartbeat. I bought my 07 new from the stealership for 8k in January this year. 13,5 is +5.5k for me... I'm cheap, which means my mods are the DIY type and not worth 5.5k. I dont know your mod situation but if it were me, the math is good. Sell Sell Sell!

For me it's just a bike...best bike I ever had, but there's plenty more out there I haven't owned yet. If someone had $8500 cash he would be the proud new owner of a pearl white 07...probably worth more like $7-7500...but it wouldn't be worth me selling it for that right now. I think I'll try the new Triumph Rocket Roadster next.
