So, I had a question about these kind of bike mounts.

I have a dirt bike and when transporting the bike, I like to keep the pressure off the front fork seals by placing a 2" x 4" boad between the tire and the underside of the front fender, THEN I strap down the front. This keeps the pressure off the front fork seals, and they last longer over the long haul.

I noticed that your bike appears to be stored in this compressed position, where the pressure is constantly on the front fork seals.

Is this bad for the front fork seals over the long haul, or OK?
