    Just found this.

    2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster

If you prefer your motorcycles to look like something out of a futuristic bikers from hell story, the 2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster ($TBA; Early 2010) is for you. Available in all of one color — we'll let you guess which one — the Rocket III boasts the line's most powerful engine yet, a 2.3 liter three-cylinder beast good for 146 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque. Add in Brembo brakes with ABS, a set of 43-millimeter upside-down forks, twin Kayaba shocks, and traffic-stopping looks, and you've got one helluva ride.

I know they have had some of the same issues holding up as the 109. It sounds like they have addressed those, only time will tell. With 165 lbs of torque it would be a stump puller for sure.

I saw that video yesterday. It looked like it could wheelie at-will. I don't really care for the looks, but the power...wow!
109 is a good number...but John 3:16 is the number!

If you had to choose this and a 2010 V-Max, what would be your choice?

It does look nasty. I saw one of these at Street Vibrations in Reno, the guy had the seat off, wires all over the place and he looked frustrated and really pissed. They don't use Lucas electrics do they?

    Default Rocket 3 Roadster

Very cool in a British understated way. I wouldn't mind one of these at all.
    I read:
    R3owners.com
all the time. Nice bunch of guys that are really into their bikes too. Some of their problems are quite similar to ours.

I would choose the Rocket as it has much more versatility...after all it is a superpowerfull heavyweight cruiser. The Max might still be faster but who....other then Lonewolf would drive them all over creation

They are saying this thing will be in the neighborhood of about $27,000. If I had that kind of money I would probably pull the trigger on something like that!

Glad they finally got it to sound like the way it should. I thought the original RIII sounded terrible for a big motor.

And I wonder what happens when they start popping shafts after airing a commercial like that. Kind of like Suzuki and their claims of abuse, after showing the bike at the drag strip. Maybe Triumph won't turn tail and run.

I looked at it before I bought the 9 and the looks of it alone turned me off.

I've met many people that think the 109 ugliest thing they've seen. You either love it or hate it and I think the 109 and R3 are both in this category. I dig the odd looking bikes, I almost bought a Kawi Z1000 instead of 9. Look at the B King, that's a fugly bike....and I like it too.
