Home made exhaust, which is pretty much a straight through pipe. GiPro and K&N filters.

I run mine on 2-3-2 and it runs smooth as silk.

I have no idea, and I've searched a lot to find out. It would be nice if they said each number equaled 5% more fuel or something like that. I guess since these are used on a variety of different bikes the percentage of fuel it adds would be different, as all it does is keep the injectors open longer as the numbers go higher.

V&H baffled Bigshots,K&N's with cold air side inlet, settings on 2-4-3. Last tankful general driving 41.4 mpg. Best trick I learned is make sure you have the Cobra right side up before you make adjustments

so if that is correct. they are increasing the duty cycle of the injector there fore the higher the number the more fuel is put to the system. maybe i will email them to see exactly what they mean.

With debaffled pipes & K&N's & stock plugs I ran it at the default for a while - no issues - getting 40-45mpg.
Then I installed "9's" for plugs and readjusted it to 1-1.5-1 and ran for a while - no issues - getting 45-50 mpg.
With Road Rage pipes (arriving this week) and K&N's I'll start it at 1-2-1.5

Actually, it would be extending the injector pulse width, or the amount of time the injector is powered on for each cycle. Basically the same thing, but if you ask them they may be more familiar with one term than the other.

IF YOU GO TO COBRAUSA WEBSITE - YOU'LL FIND THIS IS WRONG, GREEN POT - IDLE OR OFF IDLE UP TO 5000 RPM'S - YELLOW
POT = ENGINE LOAD TRIGGERED FUEL DEMAND, RED POT = FUEL MIXTURE
    SETTING
    HOPE THIS HELPS
    MINE ARE AT - 2.5, 4.5 & 2.0 - I HAVE K/N FILTERS, OPENED STK EXH AND NO OTHER MODS -

i just put on my roadburners. and my fuel econ has gone to the floor. im getting like 28-32 MPG i think i will adjust it to 3-4-2 and see how that works.

everyone that i ride with says when i get on it there eyes burn from it being so rich.

im still stock on the intake side. hopefully that will be changing soon.

If you are running rich and not running an intake why not try something around 1-2-1,or 1-2-2. Default is 1-3-2 which is supposed to be used with a free flowing exhaust and intake..you only have the exhaust, the factory map runs lean to about 3500 or so for emissions. Your settings do sound awfully rich for your set-up.

game warden I bet if you blocked off the back side of the air box's and opened up the outside with one of Duck's custom jobs or some sort of a "Tony" type mod it would really breath through that exhaust you have oh and Happy Birthday

You need to get it on a dyno.....get rid of the FI2000r, had it along with the holley intakes and cobra dragsters. Put the bike on a dyno, had to turn each dial to 10 just to keep the bike from running hot, was not getting enough fuel with the FI2000r. Threw it away and went with a power commander, same dyno, same conditions....gained 22hp before tuning 27hp after dyno tune. Spend the 300 dollars for a power commander.

Sounds like you had a defective fi2000 or had a wiring issue. Mine never runs hot. Just sayin.

My FI2000r has performed flawlessly for over a year...I haven't had it on a dyno...which is why I bought the damned thing in the first place...and with my mods I have smoother acceleration through out the entire rpm range and definitely more pull in mid to high rpms ranges. My mileage is still in the 38/42 range...my pipes (V&H's) have not discolored...that would be under the heat shields...but I did install and adjust it myself...as did dozens of other members here. I have heard of more malfunctioning pc-3's then I have Cobra units...but they do cost more...and you have to pay for a dyno too so I guess they are an alternative...for some people.
