    Smile I enjoy eatin' HD's

    Hi All,

I am a proud owner of 3 boulevards, started on a 2005 C50... had it for 8 weeks, traded for a 2006 C90, loved it had pipes and processor and was a blast to ride, but then I saw and heard about the 109. Next spring 2008 my friend and I were both looking to get one. Our mutual friend the "dealer" called us both as they just recieved thier first Blk/Gry C109rt. Well my firend got there first and grabbed it. Damn! Well went shopping and found the other color combo Blu/Wht rt at another dealer but could not get the deal I wanted. Well my friend was feeling guilty and called our other friend (dealer) and told him I could not get the deal. So I got a call and he said " you want a C109RT", Hell Yeah I do, "OK, I found you one in California, I'll have it in a week", SOLD!!!

Mind you I started riding motorcycles in fall of 2007, I was hooked and now I am riding my C109RT and added a JSD TRD, Cobra Speedster slashdown pipes, Dynojet PowerCommader, Cobra Fatty Bars, LED lighting,

It makes its presence known as soon as I light it off, and it'll eat just about anything Vtwin out there. I have a friend with a HD VRSC and it is a pretty close race after launch, Obviously the weight is the factor, but once its moving, game on, and I reel him in.

But above all, be safe, the C109 is a powerful machine and needs to be respected. We drivers we'll loose every time if we don't. Lord, keep us safe, and the skies blue, God bless us all.

    Hi Guys and Gals,
Just became a proud C109 owner myself and love it.
I was riding an 05 C90 and loved that......there is no comparison.
You dont know what you are missing until you ride the mighty 9.
This is a brilliant site. Very usable info and tips have been found already.
    Thanks all. Ride safe.

    Default C109

Hi all, traded my M109 yesterday for the C. I got to say I really like this bike, way more comfort than the M which is what I needed. Could probably use a gel seat though. The ride is so smooth, glad I did it.

    Talking

    +1

    anybody actually kept count?

i picked up my 9RT last saturday and road it across PA from just east of Pittsburgh to just west of Philly, my heiny was screaming cause it was outta riding shape, BUT, most importantly i had no discomfort in my wrists , shoulders, back or legs........ which is a huge issue

at 6'4" and 240 its a major reason me picking the C109 was that it felt substantial and comfortable when i sat it on it , finally the Bike i have been drooling over since i first laid eyes and a$$ on it is mine!

However the dealer is making good on it, and I know once I have my baby back I will be a happy 9er again ! Again wecomle to the camp !

    Default G, Day from OZ

Just bought a 2010 C109RT best thing I ever did. Have already started ordered aftermarket parts and de baffled it today. Pulled all the guts out and made a new 1inch end pipe, Now it sound like a big bike should.
had a C50 last bike and followed advise on this site to de baffle both.
Only done 350 klms so far but really looking forward to a run up the coast.

Default New C109RT rider from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

    Hi,

After 12 years without riding, this 43 years old university prof is back on two wheels with a nice 2008 C109RT ride. Once I got used to the 240 rear tire, I just love it! 2100 km in two weeks, and going for a 2000 km ride (return) to PEI next weekend... Now I wonder... How did I survive 12 years without riding...

Happy to find this C109 group, and I hope to find useful info on changing the stock pipe. Too bad Vance & Hines has no pipes for the C109.

    Cheers,

    Stéphane Gagné

Neither a windshield or a power flow question, but:

Is it correct to say that the C109's have not been manufactured after 2009? That was my understanding, (or misunderstanding?) that I got from the Suzuki website. However, I'd like to be wrong.

welcome welcome welcome. Now go get some seat time and be careful of the mod bug. Once you're bitten it gets out of control.
