    Thanks wizoffoz, I will have to do some riding in the cold but, it will be worth it. I will be off on the weekend of the 8th and, plan to put a few miles on it. I am a peace officer in Corsicana, TX., and the schedule is tight but, I bought it and going to ride it every chance there is.

    Default New to C109RT

    Just got my C109RT in October.. just found this site and it sure is a great idea.. the only thing i've got ready to add on are the OEM crash guards and luggage rack.. Thank God for the Black Friday 1/2 off all accessories at the local Suzuki shop.. traded up from the C50 Custom.. hope the 109 is as much fun as the 50.. only have 700 miles on her and now the snow is here :( .. am seriously looking for some good sounding external speakers (handlebar mounted) to work with an ipod.. and i would really like to mod the stock exhaust without the power commander.. don't want real loud.. i had Hard Chrome pipes on the 50 and they were too loud. Thanks for a great webisite with lots of info.. will post pictures later.

    Greetings to all riders on c109r!
    I'm into this bike love at first sight. I also became the owner, was the first in the Czech Republic, 9th April, 2008. Council and ideas on this site are invaluable to me. The first will be drilled into the exhaust. / Excuse my English, I'm out of school too long a time /
    Lots of safe miles in the new year!

    Let me know how you make out drilling out your exhaust.. i want to do the same thing but i don't want to add the power commander just yet... my next add on is hoping to be some great sounding speakers for the ipod.

    Default New C109R Owner

    Hello all,
    I finished my purchase 2 months ago. Bike still stored at the dealer. It's winter at it's finest up here in Ontario, Canada.

    Bike is straight stock at this point. Love the forum. I have picked up on all kinds of neat ideas.

    I am back riding after 20 years+ no rides due to kids etc. Can't wait till spring and no snow/ice.

    Pictures etc will come in the spring.

    This is my first post I just bought my C109 April 26. I was at a dealer when the C109 came out after I sat on it about 2 years ago I have not wanted anything else. I have been riding for over 25 years and this bike is alot of fun.

    Cool

    Hy,

    I'm also new to the forum.
    Own a black 08 wich I bought new at the time.
    I've upgraded from a VL800 wich i rode for 4,5 years and 250.000 km (about 155432 mi.)

    After looking at some bikes here on the forum planning on making a few mods all in due time:
    - Cobra fatty's and lightbar;
    - Corbin seat and fleetliner bags;
    - Tsukayu fairing 9*6 -> needs upgrade to Marine soundsystem;
    - Küryakyn bits and pieces;
    - GIPro ATRE;
    - Arnott Air Ride System doesn't fit the C

    Will post pic's when done.

    Biggest problem, it all has to come from the US by plane.
    So 6 weeks delivery time at the least.
    Depends on the Yslandic vulcano and Dutch customs.
